Product Line Manager – Burners

The Product Line Manager – Burners is the primary technical resource for evaluating the industry trend with respect to all relevant combustion technologies and is responsible for actively driving the product development strategy and our production approach to market. The Product Line Manager – Burners works in conjunction with the sales team to identify unique market opportunities for development. The Product Line Manager – Burners will conduct product development research associated with combustion technology to drive business decisions during changing environmental regulations, tailor our product line to meet market demands, and provide insight for production efficiency and lean manufacturing improvements.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an expert level knowledge of current and planned Riello Burner products and applications.
  • Liaise with the Sales Team and customers directly to support commercial representative and OEM clients. Listen, evaluate, and convey customer requirements to Riello internal staff.
  • Analyze and review engineering specifications, industry regulations and technical journals to understand that future direction of combustion technologies.
  • Attend industry organizations and develop research proposals based on future environmental regulation.
  • Evaluate customer feedback on product offering and execute projects to prepare, develop and launch new products and accessories.
  • Travel to project sites (when required) to act as a high-level technical expert on behalf of Riello.
  • Coordinate specific projects with a dedicated focus on lean manufacturing and our production approach to burner products.
  • Participate in industry organizations to promote the Riello brand, values, and maintain our competitiveness.
  • Work to advocate for Riello customers in a positive action approach to resolve customer issues or difficulties.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science
  • 3–5 years of experience in a relevant field
  • Ability to read architectural, mechanical and electrical blueprints and have a solid understanding of basic electrical and mechanical control systems
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and oral)
  • Advanced ability to multi-task in a matrix, fast paced environment
  • Superb team building and relationship building ability
