Overview
The Product Owner team is looking for a Product Owner working on one of their market leading payment products. Working collaboratively with the Product Management, Engineering and Delivery functions, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Product Owner to drive the delivery of their product vision.
Role
• Collaborate with the Product Manager to understand product requirements and define the ‘what’ during product development
• Be a passionate advocate of the product vision and act as the voice of the customer throughout the development cycle
• Work with the Engineering team to help define and elaborate epics and user stories
• Manage prioritisation of the product backlog to be continually aligned to business value
• Ensure the product backlog is visible to stakeholders to ensure transparency
• Accept completed epics and stories according to the Definition of Done
• Act as knowledge broker to resolve blockers

The successful Product Owner will have the following –
Essential skills
• Successful B2B or B2C product development experience
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels
• Excellent collaborative, analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience of working within agile frameworks
• Ability to plan and organise effectively and deliver to deadlines
• An agile mindset with willingness to learn and adapt quickly to changing priorities
Desirable skills
• Technical appreciation of modern software architecture
• Knowledge of the UK and International Payments Market, specifically ACH payments
• Experience in working with offshore development teams
