Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Product Technician.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding procedures as necessary by interpreting written blueprints.
  • Repair, adjust, and maintain production equipment, machinery, or instruments to ensure that it functions reliably and complies with process specifications
  • Ensure the manufacture of products in planned quantities, at budgeted cost, and of desired quality
  • Some duties may include packing, wrapping, securing, or labeling containers
  • Recognize and report any problems or deficiencies in the production process to management
  • Assist with installation and qualification of production equipment
  • Support safety programs, policies and practices that foster a safe work environment
  • May assist with planning shipping from the manufacturing location
  • Work on production assembly throughout the manufacturing process
  • Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management

Qualifications

  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally
  • Effectively utilize standard hand tools (hammer, pliers, screwdriver, etc.)
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety procedures prefer
  • Requires giving and/or receiving written communication
  • Standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and/or squatting
  • Using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls
  • Repetitive movement
  • Constantly requires carrying objects that are up to 50 lbs by hand
