Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Product Technician.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding procedures as necessary by interpreting written blueprints.
- Repair, adjust, and maintain production equipment, machinery, or instruments to ensure that it functions reliably and complies with process specifications
- Ensure the manufacture of products in planned quantities, at budgeted cost, and of desired quality
- Some duties may include packing, wrapping, securing, or labeling containers
- Recognize and report any problems or deficiencies in the production process to management
- Assist with installation and qualification of production equipment
- Support safety programs, policies and practices that foster a safe work environment
- May assist with planning shipping from the manufacturing location
- Work on production assembly throughout the manufacturing process
- Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management
Qualifications
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally
- Effectively utilize standard hand tools (hammer, pliers, screwdriver, etc.)
- Knowledge of OSHA safety procedures prefer
- Requires giving and/or receiving written communication
- Standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and/or squatting
- Using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls
- Repetitive movement
- Constantly requires carrying objects that are up to 50 lbs by hand
