Program Manager

Get Inspired by the Work You’ll Do

Design, deliver and manage the Varnex Vendor Annual Marketing Program and SYNNEX financial process requirements for Varnex projects

Directly responsible for the coordination and planning of vendor participation in and promotional activities for Varnex marketing strategies utilizing a variety of communication vehicles (i.e., website, newsletters, member events, social media)

Responsible for the identification of value-added vendor program benefits and proposal creation

Help manage to accrued and incrementally-funded budgets for proposal implementation and executes marketing related activities to support both vendor goals and the Company’s business plans

Develop business plans to include strategy, program mix, ROI goals, and success metrics

Monitor market and vendor forecasts and the regular tracking of top distribution customers

Present ROI statistics to vendor and company executives continuously throughout the SYNNEX fiscal year. Validates participation and investment commitments.

Ensure member leads generated by programs are properly assigned and handed off into the pre/post-event lead qualification process

Budget assessment and management to maintain acceptable profit expectations

Schedule 1on1 meetings with vendors to review annual program metrics and discuss upcoming Varnex objectives

Balance working on the planning/coordination/execution piece with the logistics/execution portion of their jobs

Assist in scheduling of the marketing activities

Develop the content and instructions to Marketing Communications Department

Submit proper information to the VCM and/or Finance Department

Assist vendor assigned Marketing Specialist with ROI assessment and Tracking

Your passion is sparked by:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 2-3 years of sales and marketing experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience

Extremely detailed oriented with intense organizational and analytical skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and ensure the team is meeting deadlines and milestone throughout the development, creative, execution, and analysis phases of each project

Express the desire and ability to adapt and learn new topics and technologies in a dynamic technological field

Participate and take advantage of vendor educational opportunities to better understand their products and position in the market

Ability to collect and analyze data to track proper ROI on strategic vendor investments

Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including but not limited to negotiation and presentation skills

Direct communication with business unit leaders on vendor marketing outcomes and opportunities

Works in conjunction with the Varnex marketing support team, the marcom team and events team

Facilitates constant collaboration with associated vendor marketing specialists and product managers

Ability to travel to SYNNEX Varnex, vendor and industry events as needed

Demonstrated presentation skills

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills
