Are you interested in working at the interface between supply chain and Amazon’s vendors and customers? In this high visibility, high impact Program Manager role, you will be part of the EU Consumables Strategic Supply Chain team, where you will be responsible for leading projects and programs that drive operational performance in Amazon’s Consumables business. The successful candidate will develop and own initiatives across our supply chain.
To succeed in this role you will need to:
· Work closely with teams across Europe, as well as global product and technology teams, to identify and prioritize big step-change opportunities

· Analyse data sets to understand key drivers and come up with recommendations and actions based on this
·
· Identify, prioritize and manage a portfolio of complex projects and programs from concept through to pilot and full implementation

· Clarify and drive project priorities and commitments as well as establish clear chains of project management and accountability across multiple geographic locations

· Effectively communicate and function within Amazon to gain required support for projects
We are looking for a program manager who loves solving complex problems, you’ll be expected to make sense of ambiguity and prioritise quickly in a fast moving environment. You will be fascinated by the end-to-end supply chain from vendor to customer, and you will obsess over how to maximise product availability and minimise delivery speed for our customers, whilst reducing our overall cost to serve. You will be a leader beyond the immediate team, advocating the need to address the specific challenges of fast moving consumer goods. You will be excited by collaborating with our vendors, our commerical teams, our fulfillment operations teams, and our supply chain technology for this role. You will be adept at building relationships, influencing across teams, and negotiating with external partners.
Consumables is part of Amazon’s Consumer business, and contains the fast growing categories of Grocery, Health and Personal Care, Beauty, Beer Wine and Spirits, Baby, and Pet Products. This role is based in the UK, but we manage our supply chain on an EU wide basis, and most projects and engagements are across Amazon’s EU marketplaces.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a Supply Chain discipline, or a similar degree with analytical bias.
· Relevant experience in retail, operations, and/or business management/consulting with a proven track record of delivering results.
· Must have a proven track record in taking ownership, driving results and moving with speed to implement ideas in a fast-paced environment.
· Highly analytical, flexible, action and results oriented, self-starting, and be comfortable with computer databases and online tools.
· Demonstrated ability to influence internal and external stakeholders and deliver results.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Able to work in a diverse team
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Proven ability to manage large and complex projects with experience leading cross-functional projects and teams.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects – prioritization, planning and task delegation.
· Supply chain, inventory management, vendor and/or project management experience.
· Strong proficiency in analysis tools including Microsoft Excel, SQL, and statistics software.
