Propositions and Analytics lead

Ageas in Bournemouth have an exciting opportunity to join us in the newly created position of Propositions and Analytics Lead, to define and lead delivery of a proposition plan that is insight led, at both a strategic and tactical level across Direct and Broker Personal Lines.

We are looking for a Highly commercial candidate, with proven experience in driving delivery of new initiatives and tracking, reporting and monitoring commercial performance and proactively identifying and removing blockages to project delivery or commercial trading.

To be successful in the Propositions and Analytics Lead role, you will need proven experience in successful volume and profit driving commercial delivery of insurance propositions, with a particular focus on digital distribution channels via PCWs, Intermediated channels and new digital distribution models.

Here are some of the main responsibilities of the Propositions and Analytics Lead opportunity based in Bournemouth:
Define and develop the overall proposition strategy across Direct brands, considering the optimal use of existing brands across channels and assessing new brands to enable delivery of the strategic objectives..
Oversee advanced statistical analysis of customer and consumer data to deliver actionable data and analytics insights into performance and to develop insight-led recommendations to drive multi-year business strategy.
To deliver market insight and competitor intelligence to business decision makers.
To oversee the management of the customer database and customer selections to execute the efficiency and effectiveness of brand engagement, retention and marketing communications to attract, grow and retain valuable customers.
To coordinate the MYB process within the marketing function – working with Marketing SMEs to agree multi year marketing strategies, that turn into sales budgets, then coordinating with cross functional departments such as Operations, Finance and Underwriting to ensure that all plans are aligned.

Here are some of the key skills, experience and competencies required to be successful in the Propositions and Analytics role:
Proven experience in developing strategic and detailed business commercial plans to drive MYB planning cycles across multiple business channels, collaborating closely with other internal teams
Proven experience in embedding data, customer insight and analytics into all elements of distribution, from strategic planning, proposition development and tactical delivery
Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams within marketing and wider business functions to deliver projects via virtual teams from across the business and external partners through to commercial return
Demonstrable expertise in using analysis and insight to drive commercial growth and customer engagement.
