In your role, you will:
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Coordinate and communicate with all levels within the organization, as well as the regulatory agencies
• Demonstrate general skills required for this posting
• Adhere to General Work Requirements
• Assist with performing FAA coordination.
• Identify non-value added activities and suggest improvement methods
• Monitor QA Manuals for completeness and accuracy, revising sections as required, and coordinating new program requirements
• Assist with designing and maintaining quality system policies and procedures
• Review internal/external customer requirements and apply quality systems to meet specific contractual requirements
• Evaluate certain customer corrective action progress, work the customers and coordinate activities as they relate to the task
• Support corrective action process and coordinate activities as they relate to the task
• Demonstrate general skills required for this posting
• Perform FAA coordination on new programs and on existing efforts for certification and testing on aircraft
• Design and maintain quality system policies and procedures
• Work both functionally and cross functionally to support issue resolution
• Prepare detailed presentations in support of technical reviews
• Review bid proposals for quality input and impact evaluation
• Work with Cost of Quality Program, obtaining data from cost accounting and producing reports for management.
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate,
• You have 8+ years experience in Quality or Manufacturing
• You possess working knowledge of governing regulatory policies
• You possess working knowledge of FAA regulations
• You possess basic knowledge of MS Office
• You possess an FAA and/or ASQ Certification
• You possess Knowledge of Bombardier Quality System / AS9100
• You possess expertise in specific quality discipline (Policies, Processes, Conformity, CVR etc.)
• You possess Excellent writing and presentation skills
