Job Summary
Leads processes that support quality management program. Facilitates audit processes and project assessments. Resolves internal and external quality issues and coordinates activities of the quality management team. Works with leadership to develop recommendations that support quality initiatives. Acts as subject matter expert and provides guidance to team members and others in the organization. Span of control: 0; individual contributor.
Key Accountabilities
- Assesses and monitors quality requirements and related project specifications
- Develops and maintains the quality oversight schedule
- Leads maintenance of industry standard requirements (e.g., ISO 9001) and certification process, including responding to findings or issues and developing recommendations
- Performs audits, surveillances, and project assessments that support quality efforts
- Initiates Corrective Action Requests (CAR) as required for conditions affecting quality to gain resolutions and minimize re-work
- Monitors corrective actions to assessment findings or deficiencies
- Interfaces directly with leadership in the resolution of quality management issues
- Provides training and developmental needs for team members
- Leads oversight of quality management reporting requirements and related issues
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and seven years of experience in quality management, inclusive of working with ISO 9001 auditing standards, inclusive of 3 years leading projects and/or teams
Other Qualifications
Preferred:
- Current or previous auditor certification

- Knowledge of quality management systems
- Ability to lead and manage projects
- Exhibits confidence in self and others, inspires and motivates others to perform well, and effectively influences actions and opinions of others
- Makes decisions systematically, can make decisions under pressure and build consensus
- Understanding of the budget and procurement process
- Verbal and written communicate skills and ability to create reports and presentations,
- Experience with Excel and Word
- Knowledge of industrial ISO 9001:2015 standards
