Description and Requirements
Job Profile Responsibility for product reliability design and test strategy. Study the new feature (NUDD) and create the test method and spec. Develop the new test methods and tools. Revise and create the reliability test standard. Study the industry and customer test strategy to optimize spec. Required Knowledge of Intel/AMD x86 processor-based server architecture and principle. Practical experience with reliability or mechanical design and test. Proficient in at least one reliability test spec such as GB9813/2423/5080，IEC- 60068 ，MIL-STD-810,ISA and so on. Fast learner and be able to work independently as well as in a team environment with good written and verbal communication skills Ability to interact with senior technical engineering staff and to concisely explain the results of server performance validation results Preferred Experience with MTBF calculation and test. Experience with NEBS(GR-63-CORE). Experience with statistics analysis or six-sigma. Hands on experience with Intel/AMD x86 server installation and configuration including add-in devices. Understanding of server subsystems (CPU, memory, storage, network) and environmental conditions (thermal or power envelope) and how they interact to provide optimal performance or energy efficiency Experience with Linux and Windows server test tools to diagnose and determine the root cause of server performance bottlenecks. Ability to quickly learn new tools and test method to conduct test on server product and part level validation. Experience with at multiple levels including hardware, firmware and operating system Typical Education & Experience 5+years reliability experience Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, mechanical, reliability engineering, or Computer Science
