Reliability Engineer

The reliability engineer will provide support services for their respective business including: Asset Criticality Analyses, Maintenance Strategy Development, Failure Prediction using statistical methods, and other technical engineering support as needed. This role serves as a key leader in the local implementation of APM and WM softwares (SAP and GEAPM)

1)Works under broad administrative instructions; and provides in-house consulting activities to
advise and council personnel on a variety of complicated processes/procedures supported by
detailed calculations and guided by cost effective decisions and recommendations.

2)Determines the cost advantages of alternatives for developing action plans to comply with
internal/external customer demands for reliable processes/equipment to avoid failures.

3)Serve in both lead and support functions for Root Cause Analysis and incident investigations.

4)Leads implementation locally of AM and WM programs and softwares.

5)Train and develop plant staff in AES Global processes, standards, and procedures.

6)Stay abreast of maintenance and reliability industry trends and best practices.

7)Provide technical expertise and guidance to plant leadership.

8)Serve as an advocate for workforce safety best practices.

Requirements:

5-7 Years of experience preferred

Bachelor Degree in civil, mechanical, electrical, or related engineering field from an ABET accredited institution

Previous Power industry knowledge a plus

Proficient with Microsoft Office products
