The Digital Solutions Business Unit (DSBU) represent Hitachi Vantara to enterprise clients, establishing business relationships to understand customer challenges so that we can deliver profitable business for Hitachi products, services and solutions. This team specialises in the design and implementation of digital technologies to drive tangible business outcomes for our clients.
We collaborate as a team, working closely with both technical and senior commercial stakeholders client side as well as internal delivery teams to shape solutions.
This is a junior sales role focused on lead generation reporting directly into the EMEA VP of Sales, with responsibility for the growth of technology-led solution revenue streams.
What you’ll be doing
Seeking to build trust with new prospect customers through lead generation activity, working closely with our Sales Executives and marketing. Executing on lead generation campaigns using social selling tools such as LinkedIn / Marketo to identify and nurture new contacts and arrange meetings to discuss client needs and how our propositions could help. Articulating our industry leading technology solutions, which include Hybrid Cloud, Application Migration, Big Data, Advanced Analytics and IoT to enable customers to realise the highest levels of success.
What you bring to the team

- The aptitude to identify key decision makers and their needs based on market / industry research
- A tenacious attitude with high levels of self-motivation needed in new business
- An ability to work as part of virtual teams to create and deliver innovative propositions
- You follow and are passionate about industry trend, extrapolating the business benefits of technology solutions to meet their needs
