Job Description Mitsui Chemicals Europe GmbH is the European subsidiary of a Japanese Chemical Company which employs around 18.000 employees on a global basis. Within the Mitsui Chemicals Group, Mitsui Chemicals Europe GmbH is in charge of the regions Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Our product portfolio includes – amongst others – Food & Packaging materials, Mobility (Automotive) materials and Healthcare materials.

Sales & Marketing Representative

(Semi-Conductor films, Solar and Performance Polymers related)

(male / female)

Qualification Requirements
  • Commercial or technical education, either university/university for applied science or an apprenticeship in foreign trade (“Groß – und Außenhandel”) with sales experience,
  • Technical knowledge in the field of sales and marketing, preferably semi-conductor films and sheets is a plus,
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales,
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills,
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills,
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs,
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback,
  • German and English language skills is required. Fluent additional language would be appreciated,
  • CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships should be a plus,
  • Ability to travel around 30% of time in Europe and punctually in Japan,
  • You should be a flexible, open- minded and team-oriented person.

Work
  • To visit and establish a good relationship with actual and new potential customers,
  • Promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers,
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs,
  • In cooperation with Technical Member:
    • To organize and join technical missions
    • To organize and join exhibitions and conferences to promote the sales in EMEA
    • To conduct market and customer analysis as well as research for products and price positioning
  • Maximize satisfaction and solution driven solution, including clear information exchange with Japanese headquarter, and coordinate effort within team members,
  • Manage reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services,
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
