Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented Salesforce Test Engineer with strong analytical problem solving and troubleshooting abilities. You will need to have good experience creating test scenarios, test cases, and test data for UI and DB. Also, ability to analyse defects and provide root-cause analysis. Experience in working on the test management tools and knowledge of Agile methodology.
As a Salesforce Test Engineer you will form a key part of a cross-functional development team responsible for delivering a new Salesforce based PRM platform. You will adopt QA practices that align with Agile principles and push the concern of testing as early in the development lifecycle as possible. You will follow the agile methodology for salesforce testing and use the traditional-based software lifecycles as per the different project requirements.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Defining the enterprise test strategy for the Salesforce PRM platform that aligns with the Agile/DevOps culture;
- Partnering with software developers and other testers in a collaborative Agile TDD environment;
- Promote early input and feedback from users;
- Support all QA activities within the CRM and PRM delivery teams to ensure the concern of quality is understood by all team members;
- Liaising with business stakeholders supporting an end-user activity, such as user acceptance testing and showcases.
Additional qualifications and knowledge of:
- Familiar with Salesforce Test Automation Tools like ACCELQ,
- HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT),
- Cucumber,
- Force.com IDE (Eclipse- based),
- Change Sets (Cloud Deploy),
- Ant/force.com migration tool,
- Workday.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Thorough knowledge about the defect life cycle;
- Should be able to conduct Smoke Testing to make sure all the major
- functionalities are operating as per requirement;
- Assist in designing, writing, documenting, and executing test plans/scripts.
- Experience in testing Salesforce systems, ideally including Lightning components;
- Sufficient Salesforce knowledge to be able to gain an understanding of its functionality to create a functional map;
- Test Automation and scripting experience;
- Be familiar with load testing tools like JMeter to validate the complex flows which can offer inconsistent results in Salesforce;
- Knowledge of Apex;
- Experience in stakeholder management;
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
