About the Opportunity
Working with TTI IT Enterprise Applications team to deliver best practice SAP FICO system solutions that match TTI customer business requirements. The position should be focused on SAP Finance and Controlling Modules, integration with other modules such as SAP SD & MM.
TTI is currently seeking a SAP Functional Analyst – FICO to join our team in Rowville. Reporting to the IT Enterprise Applications Manager, your key duties will include:
Key duties
Facilitate the support of SAP Financials (focus on FICO Controlling – Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Results Analysis, Project Financials, Unsettled Costs, Month End Close, Overhead assessment and settlement.)
Maintain and support the FICO environment including resolving support incidents/issues
Gain a detailed understanding of the TTI SAP FICO solution and the interaction with other SAP modules along with integration with other applications such as SD/MM, WMS and Forecasting
Work closely with the business to derive the business requirements and accurately articulate the requirements to enable internal and external parties to deliver the outcome.
Engage with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements and deliver functional solutions to meet business requirements whilst adhering to SAP change control processes and drive delivery of solutions in line with best business practice.
Provide solution recommendations/alternatives, estimates and specifications for proposed system changes in conjunction with developers and security resources
Design, customise, configure and testing of FI/CO modules
Develop test plans, conduct testing and co-ordinate UAT and business sign-off of required changes.
Assist/control system testing requirements during implementation of system changes, support upgrades or other system changes which may affect the FI & CO modules
Maintain all facets of system documentation including solution design, processes, work instructions, test documents and other related documents
Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements
Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects
Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required
Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to other business resources
Skills & qualifications
Minimum eight (8) years of SAP FI & CO module experience in implementation and support BAU and Projects
Hands-on configuration experience of Finance and Controlling, Asset Management, Outputs and smart forms, batch job monitoring, interface and IDOC monitoring, workflow etc.
Strong SAP experience supporting General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting,
Management Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inter-company Accounting, Project System.
Should have strong cross-functional knowledge and integration experience with SD, MM
Strong understanding of Order to Cash and Procure-to-Pay processes
Understanding of accounting business processes
Experience and knowledge in implementing FI & CO application enhancements
Experience supporting IT applications within a corporate environment
Committed, self-motivated and excellent attention to detail
Strong verbal and written skills.
Presentation and training skills required.
Comfortable communicating and dealing with all levels of business personnel
Excellent analytical and lateral thinking skills
Exposure to the retail industry highly regarded
An ability to work collaboratively in a project environment
Must be proactive with ability to think ahead, to be a team player and focused on meeting deadlines.
Demonstrate participation in project environments/ projects.
