About the position:
You will be accountable for the studies that you manage and you will be working as an integral part of the team
Supporting the Head of Department to meet key deliverables, including client project reporting, financial accountability, design and implementation of assay trending and contract discussions internally and externally
Responsibility for the scientific and technical accuracy of the lab work performed
Delivering effective study management by responding well to scientific challenge
Be the first point of contact for all internal | external studies managed by you and answer queries regarding study related issues
Regularly reviewing project risks and liaising with risk owners in order to mitigate
About you:
A Degree in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent
Experience of analysing large protein molecules using the following methodologies is essential:
LC-MS
HPLC
CE
Experience in running compendial methods such as pH and osmolality (preferred but not essential)
Experience in SPR methodologies would be an advantage but not essential
Practical knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and procedure
Experience of working to GMP in a regulated environment and previous study manager experience is desirable
An appropriate level of technical insight
Proven ability to solve problems quickly and effectively while working in a technically complex area
An excellent communicator with the ability to communicate at all levels internally and externally
Outstanding organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
Ability to work under a minimum of supervision
