Financial Accounting and Reporting for North America operating companies has been centralized and we are seeking a Senior Accountant to support our growth in North America.
Misión
The Ferrovial Finance Center North America is seeking a full-time senior accountant to join our Financial Accounting and Reporting team! The successful candidate must be highly motivated, confident, curious, detail-oriented, analytical and have good knowledge of U.S GAAP. Skills with IFRS and Income Taxes accounting a strong plus. This position is located in the Woodlands, Texas.
Funciones
· Perform month-end and year-end closing tasks
· Prepare and analyze financial statements, financial variance analysis and account reconciliations
· Analyze and reconcile intercompany activities and reconcile intercompany account balances
· Extract financial data and calculate income tax provision for each operating group and for the consolidated group
· Provide support to project accounting teams during the interim and year-end audit
· Prepare financial statements for multiple entities and support the related audit
· Research accounting guidance for GAAP and IFRS
· Assist with annual prequalification processes with our clients
· Actively identifying areas for process improvements and implementing IT projects to increase the organization efficiencies
· Build positive working relationships with all teams across the organization
Habilidades y experiencia
1. Minimum 2 years of public accounting experience, Big 4 Audit experience preferred
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA a plus.
3. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) a strong plus.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills.
5. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and evaluate financial statements, system, reports, internal controls, policies and procedures.
6. Knowledge of federal and state income tax accounting a strong plus.
7. Good accounting research skills.
8. Ability to perform multiple tasks, handle special projects, establish priorities and problem-solving.
9. Advanced computer skills in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook, Office 365, SharePoint.
10. Experience in SAP, Workiva experience a plus.
