Zebra’s Global Managed Services and Support team contributes to the organization by creating products and services for our customers that advances their efficiency and helps them realize their potential as they utilize Zebra product in their enterprise environment. We are a team passionate about crafting differentiated products, service and software experiences in support of Zebra products and solutions and are innovators in the services space.
We are seeking a strong, proven Services & Solutions Product Manager that will work closely with executive leaders, cross functional stake holders, and customers to determine Zebra’s service offerings and drive the vision, development, launch and adoption of new services. The product manager will have a lead services role in a strategic area of the business and be responsible for differentiated service offering that complement Zebra’s automated solutions – advanced robotics and machine vision that deliver defined customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead services product management for specific new Zebra solutions with a focus on driving significant new revenue and margin growth in this new solution product category
  • Owns, defines and executes the service product portfolio roadmap aligned with the Zebra solutions roadmap to lead the definition of the services, the long-term strategy and innovation for the entire suite of defined solutions.
  • Define and gain approval of business cases from senior Zebra leadership for these new solution-focused services.
  • Responsibility for the global definition, development, on-time launch, initial traction, growth and measurement of these new revenue generating service products
  • Drives stakeholder management to ensure cross functional alignment and expectation management across diverse solutions teams. Includes collaboration with stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the service product; from understanding customer outcomes, documenting business requirements, prioritizing feature implementation and operational supportability to deliver defined customer outcomes.
  • Works independently across Solution hardware teams, software engineering, data scientists, program management, regional product managers, marketing and our sales specialists to launch new service products, capture rapid market adoption/growth and to define and evolve the Zebra solutions services portfolio.
  • Monitors financial performance of product lines and makes recommendations for pricing action against revenue and margin objectives. Sets target product costs for new products. Evaluates cost reduction initiatives working in concert with Sustaining Engineering, Finance and other internal partners.
  • Creates and executes VOC and competitive landscape requirements. Leads cross functional VOC activities. Monitors target markets and identifies opportunities for innovation.
  • Utilizes a comprehensive knowledge of market, competitive landscape, anticipates market and customer requirements and an understanding of new solutions to drive innovation and differentiation to achieve aggressive revenue and margin growth

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science.
  • Proven Product/Portfolio Management experience with a track record of successful product concept to launch; ability to evangelize, gain early market traction and demonstrate sustained growth.
  • Minimum 12 years’ experience proven product management experience
  • Strong Presentation Skills with demonstrated ability to gain support for the service product vision and features; Communicate the stakeholder value delivered to customers, channel partners & sales teams
  • Advanced P&L knowledge. Experience with complex product & SKU structures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering or MBA.
  • Service or Software product management, cloud computing and analytics experience
  • Strong attention to detail/quality; Strong process adherence
  • Advanced market knowledge in assigned category
  • Demonstrates a strong customer service values/orientation
