This position is part of global Information Technology (IT) organization. Information Security Team collaborates with business teams globally and implements security systems.
About the role – you will:
Swing shift 1pm-10pm IST position with on call rotation .
- Implement and administer security systems such as Palo Alto Firewalls, McAfee, Tenable Nessus scanner, Proof Point, Splunk, and Forescout Counteract
- Interface with business teams globally to gather requirements, design, and implement security solutions in an agile manner
- Conduct network and system vulnerability scans
- Monitor networks and systems for security breaches using tools that detect intrusions and anomalous system behavior
- Respond to security events, investigate security breaches, determine root cause, and implement mitigation
- Develop and document standard operating procedures
- Develop information security operations metrics and reports
- Document network and data-flow diagrams
- Automate tasks related to security systems
- Participate in shift rotation with other team members as well as periodic off-hours maintenance work
About you:
- Deep understanding and knowledge of networking protocols and security encryption such as BGP, OSPF and IPSEC
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with global teams spanning several time zones
- Industry recognized InfoSec certification such as CISSP and Ethical Hacking (CEH)
- Shell, C, Perl or Python programming
- Understanding of security, network, database and application security.
Your experience includes:
- Cyber threat intelligence and information security
- Implementing and Supporting Firewall, DNS, IDP preferably in a large global organization
- Other Security tools such as McAfee, Tenable Nessus scanner, Splunk and Forescout Counteract
