The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst for a position on Lihir Island, PNG. Reporting directly to the Manager – Asset Management, the purpose of this role is to lead the Fixed Plant Maintenance Business Analyst function and support the success of the FPM Asset Management department, through financial, business, system, and problem-solving support and insight using detailed analytics, valuation and data interrogation.
Essential criteria:
- 1-3 years’ experience in consulting or business improvement is essential
- Previous experience in business improvement activities with budgeting and cost control is desirable
- Experience with ERP systems including SAP
- Data science or data modelling experience is desirable
- Computer proficiency in MS office suite with advanced Excel skills
- Strong time management skills- this role will be balancing multiple priorities
- Highly organised with strong administrative skills
Qualifications:
- Tertiary educated in either Engineering, finance or economics
- PNG drivers license
Requirements:
- Open to PNG nationals only
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment
- Must have proof of a completed Police Clearance within the last 6 months
