The Senior Digital Analyst is accountable for the generation of regular and ad-hoc online experience performance reports, consolidation and cleansing of information from various sources, and analysis of the data to explain business impacts and determine actionable recommendations. This role also advises on tagging requirements for the website and supports user acceptance testing of website functionality as required.
What you will do…
- Prepare, on a weekly and monthly schedule, a suite of reports for online performance metrics, and author accompanying analysis and executive summaries
- Support digital marketing group by enabling tracking of, and reporting of, online marketing campaign results
- Respond to ad-hoc inquiries and/or create ad-hoc reports for specific business inquiries
- Design visualizations (including charts and graphs) to best represent data for identified audiences
- Interpret data to identify changes in KPIs, interpret trends, investigate causes and explain the business impact and translate analysis into actionable insights and recommendations
- Analyze online user behavior, conversion data and customer journeys, funnel analysis and multi-channel attribution
- Consolidate and cleanse data from multiple sources, such as web analytics software and back-end databases
- Perform data integrity audits as needed
- Manage the reporting and analysis of A/B and multivariate online/offline testing
- Support user acceptance testing requirements of online experience projects
- Collaborate with the interlocking teams when needed including Merchandising, Marketing, UX, Customer Care Centre, Digital Merchandisers, and other business partners
- Administer the web analytics (Adobe Analytics) reporting environment
- Manage the Adobe Analytics vendor relationship and communicate the business requirements to the implementation partner to ensure all the tagging is implemented in a timely manner within allocated budget
- Assist in implementation and optimization of analytics and behavioral tools and services
What you will bring…
- Previous experience in analysis in a corporate environment, online or web-related field an asset
- Advanced experience working with web analytics tools, e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Analytics 360, including accessing analytics data via Reporting APIs and creating custom reporting and exports
- MS Office suite proficiency, with the focus on advanced features in Excel to build reports, automate reports and create dashboards
- Experience with Reporting and Visualization tools is strongly preferred, e.g. Power BI, Tableau or DOMO
- Ability to analyze data from various sources and provide comprehensive and relevant reports
- Ability to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) statistical knowledge and processes, and results of analyses to all audiences
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of web technologies
- Ability to easily learn new concepts and software applications
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a willingness to express ideas and concepts
- Proven relationship building skills
- Experience in eCommerce industry is an asset
- Experience in video reporting is an asset
- Working experience/understanding of databases (specifically SQL) directed towards reporting and data segmentation is an asset
- Exposure to marketing tech is an asset: working knowledge of personalization strategies and audience segmentation and Data Management Platform; e.g. Adobe Audience Manager, or Customer Data Platforms
- Ability to easily learn new concepts and software applications
