As a Senior Experience Designer, you’ll contribute to leading the development of seamless customer journeys across Origin’s digital channels, communications and energy specialist experiences.

You will be reimagining the way customers purchase services from Origin using Kraken, testing new product propositions with customers, evolving the experience customers have using Origin’s online portal My Account and much more!

More about the role:

  • You’ll be conducting qualitative and quantitative research to identify the needs of customers and their common pain-points when completing key tasks with Origin Energy
  • Synthesising research into key insights, themes and areas of opportunity, define desired outcomes and communicate these with the broader team
  • Working with the team to develop and test multiple solutions, recommending solutions that are the most feasible, desirable and viable
  • Creating artefacts including prototypes, user flows and journey maps
  • Implementing repeatable approaches (design patterns, templates, guides) across the digital design practice to minimise cost and complexity
  • Providing direction to the broader team of BAs, UI design, Content and Tech to ensure the best possible experiences are achieved as your solutions progress through delivery

ABOUT YOU

With the ability to learn and adapt in an ambiguous and uncertain environment, you will be known for excelling under pressure and find creative solutions to any problem at hand.
You will have an eye for detail and love working in a collaborative yet autonomous style.

More about you:

  • You’ll have solid experience working in Experience Design, UX or similar with extensive skills in wireframe design, prototyping and user testing
  • Excellent understanding of design principles, design-thinking methodology and user-research
  • Ability to use programs such as Figma, Miro, Asana and Confluence
  • Appreciate the value of user-research and design-process, knowing how and when to employ it to improve desired outcome
  • Demonstrated ability to take complex challenges and produce solutions that are simple and clear to user groups
  • Must possess a sense of urgency and have a “can do” attitude
