OVERALL ROLE
The Regional Analyst is accountable for the successful delivery of financial support to the Account, implementation and execution of accounting processes and programmes designed to ensure the accurate tracking and control over the Facilities and Real Estate (F&RE) operating expenditures.
The position requires an individual that is client focused, with an eye for detail. The ability to manage a complex contract across multiple countries, incorporating large volumes of transactions is essential. The candidate will ensure that best practice is followed, and look for continual improvements across all areas of the finance and accounting function.
The successful candidate will be able to navigate complex issues, develop appropriate communications strategies and serve in an advisory capacity to executive leadership.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with site financial managers to ensure the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Liaise and support the clients primary financial mangers/units
- Be proactive in developing and managing client/business unit relationships ensuring that the expected service levels are achieved
- Exhibit sense of urgency expected of client and drive accountability throughout the organization
Commercial and Financial Management
- F&RE Finance: Understand the substance and spirit of the contract as it impact finance and ensure that systems and processes are established to put the MSA into practice
- Cash Flow and Cash Transfers: work with the Client Account Teams/ Regional Corporate Teams/ Country Finance teams and Treasury to ensure that cash is correctly forecast and excess cash utilization is maximized and returned to Global Treasury on a regular basis
- Accounts Payable: Ensure the management of AP processes and ensure payment of all operating invoices in a timely manner, in accordance with our contract and legal obligations
- Invoicing: Ensure the timely and accurate raising of the JLL invoices, including monitoring the accounts receivable
- Ensure all control activities and reconciliations are carried out in a timely manner and to the required standard
Budgeting, Forecasting and Reporting
- Support and coordinate the activities of the site facility managers, project managers and finance
- Ensure correct recording of costs on a monthly basis including correct accruals
- Ensuring country level client financials and consolidated P&L’s are accurate
- Understanding the JLL and Client accounting structures and systems
- Supporting and coordinate the activities of the finance team across EMEA including financial administration and report production
- Responsible for corporate revenue recognition and for tracking and confirming revenues and costs on a monthly basis including correct accruals
- Ensuring country level and consolidated P&L’s are accurate
- Production of annual budgets and re-forecasts in conjunction with site facility mangers and client finance team
- Develop, maintain and deliver in a timely manner the clients approved financial reports across the region
- To understand all material variances in client reporting vs budget\forecast
- Prepare and collate the annual budget and quarterly forecast report for review with the Client Finance Team
- Understanding the underlying MSA and business operations and assumptions that underpin the clients F&RE financials
- Support the global finance lead in corporate financial reporting
Data Management, Policies and Procedures and Audit
- Ensure date integrity of the systems across the region and audit data from time to time
- Develop and maintain all relevant policies and procedures with respect to all finance activities on account
- Ensure that appropriate process and systems controls are in place and maintained to guarantee the integrity of all transitions
- Ensure that all financial accounting and reporting is audit worthy and in keeping with recognized quality management processes
- Ensure all finance staff are well trained on the financial systems
- Ensure all internal audit and client audit requirements are met
- Work with external auditors to complete quarter end/ year-end audit testing. Prepare work papers for them and audit file to allow clear explanations – referring to the MSA – and allow simple audit verification

Ideal Experience
- Preferably Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA/CPI)
- Experience in working with multiple currencies
- Experience with investment appraisal and managing projects finances
- Demonstrated competency in planning and management
- Previous EMEA or international experience essential
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar position
- Experience on JDE, People Soft would be an advantage.
