In your role, you will:
- Be responsible for financial governance for the Toronto final assembly line
- Provide Business Partner support to the G7500 operations leadership team
- Perform month end journal entries and accruals along with monthly financial reporting and variance analysis.
- Perform monthly consolidation of Final Line production hours & support and associated risks & opportunities
- Work in collaboration with Montreal Global 7500 team
- Lead/participate in the annual budget process and the quarterly forecast exercises
- Provide ad hoc analysis and reports as required to support program activities and management requirements
- Ensure compliance to required internal control procedures
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate,
- You hold a bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.
- You hold an accounting title (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) or are in the process of obtaining it.
- You have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in finance or accounting.
- You are known to be autonomous and resourceful. You are a team player ready to support your colleagues.
- You are flexible in managing demands and can adapt to changing priorities. You work well under pressure.
- You have strong communication skills, both oral and written and can translate financial information for non-Finance individuals.
- You have strong Excel skills and working knowledge of Powerpoint. Knowledge of SAP is a definite asset.
