(Senior) Frontend Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer (f/m/d) to join our Location Tribe to make it seamless to set your delivery location, find nearby restaurants, and enable riders to deliver food fast and efficiently to you. You will be part of the consumer facing platform that is currently being used by many of Delivery Hero’s brands, including Foodpanda, Foodora, Damejidlo, and Netpincer. Together they have millions of orders every day.

Your Mission

• Architect, design and guide the future direction of core architecture of the frontend framework.
• Enhance developer productivity by improving the tooling setup – linting, unit and end to end test alongside continuous integration and continuous delivery.
• Advocate for the best practices, accessibility standards, and performance.
• You are keen to share your experiences and expertise with those around you, and multiply your impact through thoughtful teaching, influencing, and setting examples.

Your Heroic Skills

• You are familiar with the JavaScript ecosystem and ideally with TypeScript and open to our current Technology stack (NodeJS Server Side Rendering, React runtime, Docker, Jest and Cypress).
• Passion for creating highly performant, scalable production systems
• Ability to bend the build setup to your will.
• You are unfazed by client or server side code and isomorphic rendering is more than a buzzword for you.
• Passion for architecting and refining the monitoring standards for the platform.

Nice To Have

• Understanding of kubernetes deployments
• Understanding of CSS preprocessors
