Job purpose
- Marketing executive at the Bank with strong content background in sustainability
- Senior support to the Head, Platforms
- Content expert on the broader topic of sustainability and the Bank’s sustainability strategy
- Responsible for developing content campaigns and supporting the team on building and executing the Bank’s marquee platforms such as Sustainability Summit, World Economic Forum (WEF), Campaign Oversight Team (COT), driving results against the business, brand and employee/ community objectives.
- Spearhead the regional and global strategies for the Bank’s yearlong partnership with the World Economic Forum (WEF) with a focus on sustainability and thought leadership
- Responsible for selling in activation ideas to markets and businesses, and executing campaigns and events across the WEF’s regional engagement
- Support the team on building out the Bank’s sustainability platform / summit
- Support Sponsorship team on incorporating sustainability content into Liverpool Football Club (LFC), Golf and Marathons partnership
- Play a key role on ‘Team LFC’ and co-lead the sustainability stream
The Role Responsibilities
Sustainability Summit
Support the team in building out the Bank’s new sustainability Summit including:
- Participating in steering committee and working teams, leading on sustainability content
- Play major support role to the Sustainability Summit lead
- Manage key stakeholders both internally and externally ensuring the relevant people are involved in the summit comms plan from the outset
- Identify the key sustainability comms objectives across business, brand and employee touchpoints and develop strategies against those objectives
- Create tactical content campaigns from the ground up across all touchpoints in the activation wheel including brand, PR, Media, Digital and Social Media, Internal and External Comms, client engagement etc.
- Spearhead the overarching sustainability content theme and build out summit agenda in line with theme
- Establish strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, i.e. CEO office, GPRA, CCIB
- Ensure summit agenda serves all target audience stakeholder groups in the activation wheel
- Act as internal advisor on all summit content related matters, advising stakeholders on how to best leverage platform
- Embed the Bank’s sustainability agenda into all elements of the summit and take the lead on building out the summit programme
- Define what success looks like by establishing KPIs and measurement tools with the team
- Manage agency resources where necessary
WEF
Lead the Bank’s yearlong partnership with the WEF including:
- Attending steering committee meetings and support in the development of strategic marketing campaigns
- Manage key stakeholders both internally and externally, identifying the key sustainability objectives across business, brand and employee touchpoints
- Develop content plan and manage WEF calendar across all key markets marketing plan including consideration for comms and branding, client engagement, PR, digital and social, internal and external comms etc.
- Be the team champion for sustainability content and ensure the Bank’s agenda is embedded in every aspect of the WEF activation plan
- Act as internal advisor on all WEF related matters, advising stakeholders on how to best leverage platform
- Establish WEF partnership objectives and KPIs that drive value to the Bank and strengthen our sustainability positioning
- Manage agency resources, ensuring they are delivering against their objectives for WEF activation
- Support the WEF team in developing and executing comms campaign for the annual meeting
- Support platform team on developing strategies that maximise the Bank’s partnership at WEF
