We are currently seeking applications for Senior Manager, Verification and Validation to join our dynamic product development team to lead the verification and validation in the V&V department.
We are looking for a progressive thinker, people-focused, agile leader who is passionate for technologies to transform the Verification and Validation teams to meet our stakeholders and our customers’ needs. You will collaborate with various teams within the department and within other product development teams within ResMed, you will drive engineering curiosity and engineering best practices, you will identify impediments to success and drive/promote change, and you will enable the team to shine through.
Let’s talk about Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director V&V, you will be responsible for managing and leading one or multiple team(s) in the respective section of the Verification and Validation program.
As the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of projects, managing a team(s), developing talent capability growth, developing team strategies and providing effective workforce planning. You will mentor, coach and develop a team of various engineering disciplines and engineering skillsets. You will build a close relationship with various teams like Project management, Discipline engineering teams and Test Automation teams within V&V to challenge the designs.
You will strive to build strong technical expertise and engineering leadership within the V&V team(s) and to actively support the growth of your direct team(s) and the department as a whole. You will have the vision to drive engineering thinking and create a safe environment for the team to thrive and grow as individuals and talented engineers.
Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience:
To get us really excited, you will have a degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science with significant broad-based, commercial, and electro-mechanical device experience within a new product development environment.
You have experience leading a team of engineers focused on complex engineering solutions, and a passion to develop the team and empowering them to accept responsibility and accountability of their respective roles. You demonstrate leadership in technical direction / leadership and when problems arise, you allow the team to investigate by helping them find solutions.
Preference will be given to candidates who has experience in software and hardware testing of an electromechanical device and who has successfully managed a high performing technical team.
