Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Designs and analyzes mechanical systems, equipment and packaging. Conducts feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs. Directs support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication. Provides design information to drafting for packaging documentation.
We are looking for a Mechanical engineer for our Test Hardware department.
This team is responsible to provide mechanical solution for our test engineering group.
The candidate will design, develop and validate hardware and test solution used on our engineering and production test floor.
This includes design of docking solutions for robotic part handlers and design of interface for parts of the test equipment. Design of mechanical elements, drafting fabrication drawing, reviewing tolerances, and generating the appropriate documentation to be used in our manufacturing facility. Also responsible implementation of the hardware. Inventory control and budget management.
The candidate should have a strong mechanical design background as well as lean manufacturing knowledge.
Requirements :
• Requires Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Advance degree preferred
• Minimum of 8 years work experience preferably in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in Solidworks ( CSWP preferred )
• Knowledge on engineering analysis tools (Ansys, Solidworks Module)
• Solidworks programing ( C++ or Driveworks)
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Creativity and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
