The Onshore & Floaters division is looking for a Senior Package engineer for our ROME Engineering Hub.
The candidate will be in charge of:
· Preparation of technical specifications, inspection and test requirements and material requisitions.
· Preparation of equipment package documentation, information, communications, data sheets, engineering specifications, and ensuring conformance to all applicable standards and codes.
· Technical evaluation of vendor quotations including preparation of technical bid comparisons.
· Technical support for negotiations with equipment vendors.
· Assistance with preparation of project plans, schedules, labor budgets, equipment cost estimation and status reports.
· Review and comment on vendor documentation, collection/integration of comments coming from other involved disciplines.
· Review and verification of related detail design engineering documents.
· Participate in inspections and testing of package units.
· Finalization of final vendor documentation.
Requirements:
– Degree in Mechanical engineering;
– Proven experience (minimum 6 years) in a main Oil & Gas/EPC company in the same role. An experience in coordination of multi-disciplinary engineering activities will be consider a plus.
– Knowledge of applicable international standards and codes (ASME, API, ecc.)
– Good interpersonal and communication skills
A proficient use of English and the availability to travel and work abroad for projects needs are mandatory qualifications.
