Your Role

Be one of the teams responsible for solution design on one of our Agile infrastructure teams. Strong skills in relationship management with key stakeholder groups will be required. Growing the domain knowledge for certain functions will be a critical success factor. The Solution Architect will be encouraged to bring Infrastructure capabilities to the table when interacting with business partners, ability to communicate the value proposition of the proposed solution in terms of benefits, risks, and other key business criteria.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading all aspects of and supporting functional and business requirements gathering for Infrastructure work
  • Follow guidance and recommendations by the Enterprise Architecture team where applicable
  • Produce conceptual and logical architectures to meet strategic business, financial and technology objectives through documentation of systems, architectures, process flows, and value-chains
  • Ensure alignment of initiative level high and low designs against the agreed architectures and technology strategies
  • Provide continuous feedback between Infrastructure, Applications, and business representation
  • Build a positive relationship and rapport with key Partners, including business partners, application leads, security, and other Infrastructure functions (Engineering, Operations, etc.)
  • Technical leadership and exposure across a broad scale of tools, technologies, and architecture models.
  • Keeps abreast of current developments and trends in Infrastructure and assigned business domain through networking, continuing education, and industry/technology publications

 

The experience you bring:

  • At least 8 years experience in information technology with preferably 2 years of financial services experience and 2 to 3 years of technology architecture experience
  • Asset Management with exposure to sophisticated concepts into multiple architectural “views” sought at varying audiences
  • Broad-based IT Infrastructure knowledge and deeper experience in at least one technical domain (Workplace/End User Technology, Networking, Server/Storage, Databases, Citrix Hosting, etc.)
  • Interpersonal skills vital to efficient interaction and communication throughout the organization with a variety of individuals at all technical levels are required.
  • Able to influence others so that project objectives are met is required.
  • Must have the ability to communicate technical presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate with business analysts and clients to develop strategies and solutions of high business value.
  • Some knowledge of AWS capabilities or other Cloud providers would be beneficial.
