Job Description:
Technical Qualification
- Hands-on experience with performance engineering, scripting and execution using Micro Focus LoadRunner/Performance Center, JMeter.
- Hands-on with Load Runner Http, Truclient, Web services, Citrix Protocols.
- Experience on performance testing Web, APIs/Microservices, and UI on different technology platforms.
- Experience in troubleshooting API issues and performance optimization
- Strong understanding of performance testing and engineering concepts, Ability to define performance test strategy, approach and frameworks
- Ability to write test scripts, shell/c scripting, and setup complex test scenarios to model production workloads
- Experience with cloud-based application scalability, stress & concurrency testing
- Knowledge and experience working with OSS tools like JMeter, Locust, Gatling to integrate with continuous delivery pipelines and tools
- Work with Developers and Client(s) teams to understand project non-functional requirements and create real-world test scenarios
- Strong knowledge of an OOP Language: Preferably Java or JavaScript
- Hands-on experience in writing Database/SQL queries, data validation and AWR analysis
- Experience in debugging, troubleshooting and performance tuning Java/JS applications and garbage collection using DynaTrace, SiteScope, Splunk, etc.,
- Proficient in code profiling and CPU/heap/thread analysis
- Oversee system performance lifecycle and identify key metrics for performance improvements
- Proven experience with development and maintenance of performance test suites in large-scale multi-tenant web applications
- Provide technical assistance during development to improve system performance, capacity, reliability and scalability
- Identify project risks and make recommendations to minimize risks related to performance bottlenecks; ability to anticipate problems.
- Work with Project/Test Data Management teams to establish test data in sufficient quantity to support the performance testing effort.
- Experience of working with multi-vendor, 3rd parties, and client teams
- Healthcare domain knowledge
Additional Qualification
- Minimum Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field
- 8+ years of experience in mentioned areas and demonstrate the ability to design & delivered Performance testing and frameworks for complex enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies, various platforms, tools and products in the performance engineering space.
- Azure Cloud and IBM Bluemix Cloud experience/certification and Performance testing experience
