We are looking for a passionate and experienced Program Manager to join Spotify’s Ads Business. As a Senior Program Manager, you will represent the work in a business area and help drive alignment on the right initiatives to execute the long-term strategic plan. You will embed in a specific focus area and work in close collaboration with the leadership team.
You will drive critical priorities for Spotify by leading and assisting in projects of all sizes. You will work with a diverse team to run projects from concept to implementation and keep Spotify-wide partners updated as you go. You get down into the details of complex analyses without losing sight of the overall objective. When working on multiple projects at once, you know which issues to highlight and can bring key decision-makers together to come up with effective solutions. Once a project is completed, you’re able to clearly communicate the results and draw the key findings for senior management. You are efficient and organized, making the most of everyone’s abilities and holding the team to a high standard.
In order to be successful, you should be able to build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication with stakeholders at multiple levels. A roll-up-your-sleeves and get the work done mentality is a must. Your strength should lie in seeing the holistic perspective, see how all the moving parts should tie together, and systemize it into a functioning program.
Your core responsibility will be the execution of critical initiatives. These are often large-scale cross functional initiatives that we believe will have a significant impact on the advertising business within a short to medium term timeline.
What You’ll Do
- Drive and road manage key growth initiatives for Spotify’s Ads business, including our international expansion plans
- Build and sustain forums for coordination within various global teams across the Ads Business
- Ensure deadlines are met by moving projects along and holding key stakeholders accountable
- Craft in depth cross-functional communications strategies for large program teams & Global Advertising Leadership
- Coordinate project/program reviews, planning sessions, and other team events
- Assist in strategic international projects, and the development of long-term goals to increase our international ad inventory and drive ad revenue
- Develop and own weekly communication cadences across teams
- Work with Global Ads Biz Leadership to help them communicate strategic initiatives to the wider organization
- Participate in planning and help communicate outcomes to the rest of the Global Ads Biz
- Support communication of strategies, key results, and takeaways
Who You Are
- Have 5+ years experience working in Program Management roles, preferably within the digital media space
- Have experience partnering with ad sales leaders and ad sales operations functions
- Ability to travel to EMEA up to 20% of the time upon Spotify travel restrictions being lifted
- Have experience running and representing large, global, cross-functional projects and can easily communicate status
- An excellent communicator and bring clarity to the projects you drive freeing up lines of communication, identifying and removing blockers, encouraging collaboration, and, most importantly, continuously looking for ways to improve how we work
- The glue of a happy, productive, cross-functional team; making space for the creative work across all areas to happen in a clear, open environment.
