Position Summary:
You are a Senior Sales Engineer who will act as a trusted advisor to our customers by inspiring and influencing them to enable better ways of working and to help them transition into hybrid and multi-cloud environments. You will be responsible for helping define customer strategies, identifying and matching technology opportunities to business issues and objectives and will assist in developing business value propositions around the Citrix solutions and services.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Working with Citrix resources and Channel/Alliance partners to define offering and develop solutions.
- Build long standing, value-based relationships that help define customer strategy
- Engaging with the customer to drive technical understanding of solution and value for business needs while providing insight on technology trends, product developments, and technical capabilities.
- Assisting sales leads to develop value propositions around Citrix products and solutions
- Leading business value discussions utilizing technical sales presentations/demonstrations
- Maintaining a full understanding of industry practices and company policies/procedures
- Create Finance and Insurance propositions, supporting assets and create Industry awareness
- Engage with the Finance and Insurance communities to establish Citrix as a strategic partner within the verticals
Qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities)
- Knowledge in modern Applications Delivery technologies like Virtualization, Application Gateway solutions and Collaboration.
- Understanding in Network security technologies like SaaS/Web proxy solutions, VPN and DLP platform.
- Ability to establish relationships with sales teams and engage with the customer’s technical personnel to form partnerships
- Ability to engage Citrix team (e.g. Key Account Manager, Sales Representative, Product Sales Specialist) and partner sales teams to develop solutions
- Ability to recognize and develop new opportunities
- Awareness of customer’s business needs and environment that drive technology requirements and strategies
- Practical experience within Application delivery technologies, Networking and Collaboration solutions in large environment is preferred.
- Ability to travel (50%) within assigned territory and other locations including Corporate headquarters
Basic Requirements
- Relevant years’ experience in a high-tech or IT environment.
- Relevant Citrix Certified Professional (CCP) certification preferred along with other relevant industry certification would be a plus
- Experience in working with large accounts and selling at higher levels of the organisation
