THE ROLE
Origin is the largest energy retailer in Australia, and with 4.3 million customer accounts we’re constantly evolving and changing to better suit their needs. Our activities include power generation, energy trading, the sale of LPG, electricity, natural gas and solar as well as the development of new and emerging technologies. This is a unique opportunity to join the Business Solar team based in Sydney. Working closely with the National Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for growing the SME Solar customer base through leveraging existing Origin customers, developing new channels and identifying sales opportunities.
Key duties include but will not be limited to:
- Identifying key areas for growth, retention, profitability, sales volume, margin, and customer numbers
- Implementing and develop agreed objectives for acquisition and retention, including strategy and communication
- Building and maintain a positive culture of sales excellence
- Prioritising workflow to ensure exceptional customer service is paramount
- Effectively managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Identifying and proactively pursuing process and system improvement opportunities using technology and systems to deliver a better customer experience
IS THIS YOU?
You’ll need to have a strong base of experience working within a fast paced sales environment.
To be shortlisted you will need:
- A track record of working within a B2B sales environment with a preference for the renewable energy industry
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal with a track record of executing sales from both warm and cold clients
- Experience closing sales in person and over the phone
