Job Summary

    Responsible for the coordination of operations, maintenance and construction activities. Establishes site work priorities and provides scheduling support and designs support plans for site activities. Monitors progress of work, identifies problems and revises plans and schedules as necessary to ensure safe and efficient execution.

Key Accountabilities

  • Plan and then execute the plan for on-line and outage work.
  • Publish reports and critiques, monitor completion of action items and lessons learned.
  • Investigate and implement new concepts for process improvement.
  • Maintain long range plans for Fermi 2.
  • Provide advanced level assistance for computerized scheduling applications.
  • Serve as project manager on special assignments as requested.
  • May supervise personnel and or activities during outage and non-outage times to meet established schedules and objectives in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or related technical field and power plant experience as is normally acquired in five years
  • OR Associate’s degree and seven years power plant experience with three of these years being Nuclear related
  • OR High school diploma or equivalent with power plant experience as is normally acquired in ten years with five of these years being Nuclear related.
  • Two years experience related to planning, scheduling or outage management.

Other Qualifications

  • Must be able to pass all phases of InProcessing including a background investigation, psychological screening, appropriate radiation worker/respiratory training and be medically certifiable drug and alcohol screen.
  • Ability to manage multiple work activities which will include numerous urgent time critical takes of varying priority.

  • Knowledge of the Fermi 2 organization, administrative procedures, and a functional knowledge of the Fermi 2 plant.
