In this role, you have the opportunity to:
Philips has a prominent global position within the market and as Life Cycle Service Innovation Specialist you will be part of this by developing new service concepts. This is done within a multi disciplinary environment whereby Field Service, Marketing and R&D play important roles. Key for this are new service concepts, analysis of service data, benchmarking and alignment with our other internal service innovation teams. Within MR Service this role is focused strongly on Serviceability and reliability improvements for our MRI systems
You are responsible for
You will work independently and provide advice and guidelines to introduce service innovation methods or procedures within the organization, through:
Improving the serviceability of released products through innovation models and enhancement requests of the field service organizations
Collaboration with Life Cycle Engineering R&D team to define improvements on components released to the field
Defining the complete service package for released components as: service parts, processes, tools, documentation, training and other required supporting information.
Collaborating with R&D Life Cycle Engineering to ensure that we keep our systems serviceable over the committed service lifetime of the system.
Executing validation tests within the projects and resolve service issues during product introduction

Our team is working closely together with the different Field Service, Marketing and R&D teams worldwide. Ultimately, our goal is to ensure that our customers can deliver excellent care to their patients at any time.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, with over 12 years of exp. Preferably with a master in the area of data analytics
Experience in system and data analysis and translating this into service concepts
Experience in MRI field service is a preference
Ability to work across different functional teams and virtual organizations at global level
Excellent communication skills and fluent in English
