Job Responsibilities
1. Uptime of Teleport Infrastructure ( Compression, Playout, RF & IP sub systems)
2. Network Incident Management (End to End) for Teleport Infrastructure.
3. Problem Management.
4. Planning and Execution of Change Request.
5. Proactive Monitoring & troubleshooting of customer networks.
6. Customer calls resolution within the norms.
7. Execution of all new projects at Teleport end in terms of deployment on new channels.
8. System Report generation.
9. Compliance to all quality processes.
10. Compliance to Bharti Information Security Policy
Major Challenges :
1. Customer coordination is one major challenge to deliver the services .
2. Flexibility to accommodate different customers workflow.
What specific skills and traits should this person possess?
· Should have knowledge of all Audio / Video / RF monitoring equipments.
· Knowledge and capability of supporting all IP networking standards.
· Hands on experience in Digital Headend and Teleport RF Operation.
· Hands on experience in Monitor system logs and activity on all EMS and network devices and effective MIS documentation.
· Advance Knowledge in MPEG/DVB standards.
· Coordinate with interdepartmental teams to resolve the issues at the earliest.
· Flexible, self motivated, and well-organized
