Description
(1) Follows Operating Discipline principles, procedures and practices to ensure safe and efficient operation of assigned plant areas.
(2) Operates and field checks process equipment. Monitor process conditions, equipment and control systems.
(3) Performs tasks assigned to operations as per Master Task List field checks, equipment preparation, samples, etc.
(4) Ensures operational activities and process performance are aligned with Plant and business goals.
(5) Perform process equipment troubleshooting, minor repairs, improvements and preventative maintenance, utilizing appropriate processes and disciplines.
(6) Uses trouble shooting skills to resolve process related deviations and problems.
(7) As required, initiates and participates in Root Cause Investigations.
(8) Coaches and train others on plant operations.
(9) Performs immediate response activities assigned by Immediate Response Leader.
(10) Uses process knowledge and skills to make improvements in plant performance and Operating Discipline.
(11) Monitors, collects and inputs plant metrics for Statistical Process Control (S.P.C.), asset utilization, conversion costs, production yields and identify opportunities for plant optimization.
(12) Utilizes S.P.C. tools to optimize plant operation and provide feedback on the effectiveness of the S.P.C. tools.
