Description
Mitsubishi Motors North America is looking for a Software Developer to join our Information Technology team. As a Software Developer you will develop and maintain business application programs, support ERP packages, and provide ui/ux designed websites.
Responsibilities
Design and develop specifications, application code, test, and debug complex programs, taking into consideration infrastructure capacity and systems limitations, to meet performance standards
Provide technical expertise in the design, development and construction of new Business Systems and enhancements for less experienced analyst/programmers
Follow the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to plan, design, build, test, and deploy software applications, ranging from complex Business ERP Applications, Web Applications, websites and mobile applications, and eCommerce applications (API’s, RESTservices, etc.)
Work as part of a cross-functional (IT, Finance and implementation/support partners) and cross geographical team to drive business performance
Support and maintain the production operation of large systems consisting of multiple sub-systems
Develop and/or update program documentation
Provide feedback to management to enhance standards of performance and expectations
Participate in the development/customization of the Business Systems infrastructure, and internal I.T. Department standards and procedures
May perform project leadership role which include developing project plans, including estimates and schedules, instruct, direct and check the work of project team members system test plans, system test cases, integrated test plans, implementation plans and complete Quality Assurance requirements or otherwise assist in these tasks
May perform project leadership role which includes assisting in personnel actions such as appraisals, coaching, etc.

Education/Experience
Five years prior business programming experience
Moderate knowledge of System development methodologies – Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) methodology, Agile and SCRUM
Moderate System Design/Analysis skills
Moderate knowledge of a combination of coding tools & technologies, such as J2EE, JAVA, JAVA Frameworks, DOJO, Angular, Hibernate, Spring, REST services, JSON & JAVA Script, RAD or Eclipse development tools. Minimal .Net and Visual Basic programming. Some positions require: SAP S/4 Finance-ABAP, BAPI, BADI, ALV, Adobe Forms, IDOCs, PI/PO, Fiori, Odata, SAP Security design
Moderate knowledge in planning, estimating and using project management skills, procedures and techniques
Moderate knowledge of techniques in selecting, recommending and implementing software tools
Moderate knowledge of technical trends to assist in planning strategic client/server applications
Moderate oral and written communication skills
Moderate knowledge of wholesale automotive industry applications preferred
Previous experience web development methodology and tools (JAVA EE) preferred
MA/MS/MBA degree or equivalent preferred
