Position
We are looking for an experienced engineer to expand the Verisign Registry Reports Engineering team. This engineering position is part of an agile dev-test team responsible for designing, developing, and deploying some of the most visible, exciting, and challenging software on the Internet. The candidate will be involved in all aspects of product development including ideation, design, implementation, deployment, and issue resolution. This will usually imply cross-team collaboration with Product, Engineering, Security and Operations. The candidate is expected to provide technical contributions and work collaboratively with other team members.
An ideal candidate possesses good software engineering skills with solid Data Management knowledge in RDBMS (Oracle) and/or Big Data (Hadoop) along with the ability to program in Java. They should have a strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including core Computer Science concepts, as well as hands-on problem-solving experience building software systems. Obtaining required competencies often implies the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of hands-on software development work experience OR master’s degree and 3+ years of hands-on software development work experience.
