We are looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Engineer to work within our Neftex Data Delivery team.
Essential Skills:
· An honours degree (2:1+) in Geoscience
· Experience in creating detailed and well-structured test cases and test scenarios
· Experience documenting and reporting software bugs
· User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing knowledge.
· Familiarity with issue tracking software such as TFS/ADO
· Proven experience with new testing tools and test strategies.
· Understanding of basic web technologies like HTML, CSS, JS.
· Familiarity with Microsoft development technologies and environments.
· Experience with AWS
Desirable skills:
· Knowledge of testing Restful API Web services
· Experience in tools such as Fiddler and Postman
· Automation testing knowledge and experience, plus a willingness to learn it
· Oil and Gas industry experience
· Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
· Knowledge of SQL
Responsibilities include:
· Defining test strategy and plans
· Working with the development team and product owner to define tests for new releases and features
· Regression and acceptance testing
· Recreation and logging of defects reported by others
· Testing all aspects of the release including functional and non-functional
