Overview of the Role
Reporting to the E-commerce Director, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the developing, implementing, and managing the e-commerce marketing campaigns. Working in collaboration with the Marketing team, the Digital Marketing Specialist role is to augment brand awareness, drive qualified traffic to the website and acquire new customers.
How you will make contributions that matter:
Develop, manage and execute the digital strategies and tactics across all channels to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, improve conversion and grow revenue.
Drive collaboration between E-commerce, Marketing, Sales and Product Development to address market needs and enhance the overall consumer experience.
Work closely with external agencies on briefing, creating, reviewing all aspects of the digital marketing strategies CRM program (email newsletters) in addition to content on social media platforms (Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube) and influencer campaigns.
Collaborate with Marketing teams and IT on all website projects, participating actively in design changes, content updates and improving the consumer experience.
Develop, implement and manage sales forecasting activities, set performance goals (KPIs) to achieve company objectives.
Be familiar in analyzing and speaking to financial reporting and PNL’s
Develop weekly performance reports and meet with management to provide update.
Participate in monthly social media content calendar reviews with Marketing teams.
Act as a gatekeeper for all digital and social brand objectives and suggest campaign optimizations and continuous improvement to drive ROI.
Create and produce newsletter strategies while managing customer databases.
Continually research, evaluate and test new lead generation channels and technologies to adapt and improve targeting and acquisition.
Identify opportunities for implementing best practices/improvements on all digital channels.
Capture and track expenses within the Digital Marketing budget.
Execute other related tasks as needed.
You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
University diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Digital Marketing, with a strong aptitude for e-commerce, CRM and social media.
Understanding of social media platforms, including best practices, functionalities and reporting tools; these platforms include but are not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube.
Proven track record in managing SEO, SEM, affiliate marketing, email and display strategies.
Profound Knowledge of Google Analytics / Sitecore / SEM & SEO / Synthesio an asset.
Experience in content marketing and working closely with creative agencies.
Bilingualism (English and French) written and spoken is a must as well as strong communication skills.
Meticulous attention to detail, ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines, and work both collaboratively and autonomously.
Self-motivated team player, comfortable with learning new technologies and adapting to changes in the digital ecosystem.
