Job Description
The international senior accountant will play a key in supporting accounting functions in Skyworks international entities. This will include providing support to international accounting teams and well as third party accounting service providers in a dynamic, fast pace environment. Attention to detail, organization skills will be key to success as well as an understanding of general intercompany accounting flow.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for reviewing a subset of financial reporting packages to ensure they are properly accounted for in accordance with US GAAP and alignment with current Company guidelines and policies.
Help in subsidiary AP payments, inter-company invoicing & settlement and month/quarter/year end close process.
Help coordinate with foreign 3rd party service providers on local accounting, reporting, and statutory issues.
Assist in quarterly and annual reporting and statutory audit related activities.
Maintain exchange rate tables
Prepare monthly journals and account reconciliations
Perform any other projects assigned on an as-needed basis.
Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree and 3- 5 years’ relevant accounting experience in an international environment in multiple countries preferably in a public company
Strong foundation in international accounting, monthly close, financial reporting, and consolidations.
Good understanding of foreign currency revaluations, translations, and FX.
Knowledge of SAP is a plus
Working knowledge of US GAAP Accounting
Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with ease and take ownership of assigned tasks or projects.
Team player with strong communication and organization skills
