SR HR BUSINESS PARTNER – HOME FRAGRANCE

Summary

The Senior HR Business Partner will assist the Head of HR in influencing strategy and steering its implementation ensuring that the HR function meets organizational needs. We don’t just perform HR transactions but we are actively part of the business decision making and support at all levels.

Specifically, the successful individual will be responsible for:

 

Management coaching and support

·    Technical HR skills coaching

·    Soft skills coaching

·    Pastorial support

·    To business partner your area on all aspects of the employee life cycle inc recruitment, performance management etc

 

Leadership, Communication and Involvement

·    Provide positive leadership in HR initiatives and projects encouraging strong relationships with line management to ensure that functions meet their objectives.

·    Support and work with Senior Managers group

·    Ensure that the team is directed in a manner that motivates, encourages and develops individuals who are in turn fully engaged and committed to delivering on their specific business objectives.

·    To be responsible for HR system and reporting tools, ensuring that accurate reports providing key statistical information and analysis are submitted to the Head of HR for discussion at the weekly meetings.

·    Deputise for the Head of HR in meetings, absence or on projects

·    Supporting other HR team members on HR knowledge bourne from experience

HR Projects

·    To lead project teams as and when required.

·    Assisting the Head of HR in driving key HR initiatives through the business, ensuring that senior management support, communicate and implement resultant changes.

·    To manage the company car fleet for Europe

Qualifications

·      A professional HR qualification (CIPD etc) or relevant years experience

·      Minimum 5+ years HR generalist relevant experience

·      Demonstrable success with delivery of HR initiatives and management of change (redundancies, restructures)

·      Excellent communication, influencing and negotiating skills at all levels

·      Excellent employee relations skills

·      Experience of working in project teams, successfully implementing new systems/processes

·      Good working knowledge of employment legislation and its impact on the business

·      Experience of business partnering a sales and marketing function desirable

·      Good business acumen
