Sr Logistics Engineer

Job Summary:
Self-directed/little supervision, the position applies engineering techniques to solve complex problems challenging the status quo while adding value to the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Applies in-depth knowledge of business processes and experience to create or improve solutions. Interprets business issues and requirements to provide optimal solutions.
  • Identifies and solves complex problems using solid technical and quantitative skills.
  • Leads and/or supports projects to accomplish business goals and mentors less-experienced engineers.
  • Clearly articulates complex technical concepts to peers and business partners.
  • Interacts with internal and external customers to understand stakeholder needs.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Management, or related field, or foreign equivalent, or suitable combination of education, experience and training; plus 5 years of experience in a related Engineering field.

Experience in data visualization software, statistics, operations research, linear programming, forecasting, predictive modeling, relational databases and SQL
