Responsibilities:
Responsible for Factory Supply Planning alignment with SCM demand.
Monitor output and prioritize to meet die delivery commitments.
Strong working relationship with all departments of Factory management to develop, communicate and monitor the wafer starts plan to support the SCM Master schedule
Develop relationships with internal customers, particularly Mexicali PC, to understand their requirements and foster methods to improve collaboration
Strong collaboration and support for Business Units/Program Management
Monitor and update critical planning parameters, such as yield and cycle time, to maintain a valid die supply plan to meet both short term and long-term demand
Coordinate closely with Sourcing team to support the delivery requirements of epi and equipment spare parts.
Manage the Shipping, Receiving and Stockroom functions
Improve flexibility in the supply planning process; and recommend buffers as needed to meet customer requirements.
Establish appropriate focus, and culture of continuous improvement in the team
Organize team to be effective in aligning with the organization’s targets and achieving objectives
Measure and track KPI accomplishment.
Job Requirements:
Minimum education level: Bachelor’s Degree. B.S. Industrial Engneering is preferred.
Specific academic qualifications for supply planning disciplines such as production planning, purchasing / inventory management preferred.
Ten years of professional experience with a minimum of seven years in supply or demand planning and high-volume manufacturing.
Experience in managing teams, cultivating leaders, and helping professionals grow and advance their careers.
Demonstrated ability to examine data, identify opportunities and drive improvements
Excellent presentation skills, verbal and written communication skills, including making management presentations.
Demonstrated ability to work in a large, matrix organization, successfully influence others, and develop relationships.
Advanced skill level in Excel and MS office suite. Familiarity with big data environments is preferred, but not required.
Experience in SAP, Promis, ERP and Advance Planning tools is a plus.
