Stockroom

General Function:   

  • (B Grade) Receives components, stocks, pulls parts and packages customer spare parts orders.
  • (A Grade) Trains and oversees daily activities of Stock Room B personnel.  Troubleshoots problems concerning general Shipping/Receiving issues, such as: Vendor discrepancies, quality concerns, inventory matters, and Return Authorizations.  Invoicing problems and paperwork accuracy a key responsibility.

Primary Responsibilities Labor Grade 2, Stockroom B:

  • It is every BPM, Inc. Employee’s responsibility to be aware of and work with Belvac’s current documented Quality Management System as it pertains to their job requirements
  • Correctly completes and follows all required instructions on picklist for shipment of spare parts orders.
  • Processes Parts Received per procedures, including accurate entry into Belvac Inventory.
  • Maintenance of the Inventory Stock Locations, assuring properly identified parts, and consolidation of Inventory items within Stock Room.
  • Processes Parts for shipment to subcontract Vendors on a Daily Basis.
  • Participates and accountable for cycle count as directed by Inventory Control Coordinator.
  • Loads and unloads shipments as required.
  • Issues material in accordance with Stockroom work instructions.
  • Assures Packaging and preservation techniques, as defined, are followed, both incoming and outgoing.
  • Perform computer transactions, as required.
  • Exhibit proficiency, as trained, in all work instructions, both shipping, receiving, and inventory management accuracy, as instructed.
  • Maintenance of the Inventory Stock Locations, assuring properly identified parts, and consolidation of Inventory items within Stock Room.
  • Must possess some computer skills.
  • Must be able to work and communicate in a self-motivated team environment.
  • Must be able to work with minimal or no supervision.
  • Must be capable of adapting to business changes, as required.

All preceding criteria, criteria at next level and time in grade requirement of two years (minimum) must be met before eligible for promotion to Stockroom A.

Primary Responsibilities Labor Grade 3 Stockroom A:

  • Minimum of 2 years Shipping/Receiving experience required.
  • Capable of performing all Stockroom B activities with proficiency.
  • Accountable for on-time release of machines, work orders, and Kits, to the various locations by their kit date.
  • Responsible for providing manager with performance to due date monthly and associated issues for non-compliance.
  • Participate in problem solving and issue resolution in conjunction with Inventory Control Coordinator.
  • Responsible and Accountable for accurate transactions of machine shipments, per procedures
  • Fully Responsible and Accountable for proper documentation and transactions of shipments, both domestic and international, to assure compliance.
  • Provides background analysis to Manager for C/CA’s, as needed for resolution of discrepancies.
  • Capable of acting as limited back up for Inventory Control Coordinator, as needed.
  • Must possess strong computer skills with above average understanding.
  • Exportation knowledge of Harmonized Tariff and Commodity Codes, NAFTA, and other matters a plus.
  • Transportation, Freight, and application of all relevant commercial carrier requirements to assure timely delivery a plus.

Additional responsibilities as required:

  • Designated specialist – To act as exportation compliance monitor per export manual defined requirements.

Education:     HS Diploma or Equivalent Certificate

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years Shipping/Receiving experience desired.
