What we need:
Mohawk is looking for a Supervisor – Materials Distribution to plan, organize, supervise, monitor and continuously improve the day-to-day activities of an assigned department.

What you’ll do:
• Supervise distribution functions to ensure that work is completed according to established schedules.
• Monitor work performed by employees, establish priorities, provide consistent feedback, and facilitate employee training, development and resource needs.
• Promote a safe work environment while achieving departmental goals.
• Ensure proper inventory procedures are followed to accurately track material flow through assigned areas.
• Oversee cycle counts while working with other departments as necessary to correct any inventory errors.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports to monitor cost and maintain operational efficiencies.
What you have:
• High school diploma or GED required. (College degree preferred) or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• 4 years of related experience, including at least 2 years in a lead or senior capacity.
• Proficiency using a PC, department-specific databases and systems, and assigned departmental machinery and equipment.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of HR policies, practices and procedures.

• This is a physical job in a noisy environment that requires walking and standing for long periods of time, bending and crouching, and climbing on machinery when needed to assist with minor repairs.
• You’ll need to have a flexible schedule that includes evening and night shifts, weekends and holidays.
