Role:
Reporting to the Seihan & Supply Chain Department Manager, this role provides the valuable link between our worldwide Honda Power Product (PP) Factories and Logistics Centres.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing support to the Honda Motor Europe (HME) PP Seihan team. Ensuring the efficient management of logistic data and flows, resulting in the timely availability of goods from our global Honda Factories.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process shipping documents for all HME incoming goods. Track delivery timings and logistics flows to ensure that all databases (SAP) are kept up to date and consistent with latest data.
- Liaise with Honda Logistics and ensure Seihan team are kept aware of any changes to shipping schedules.
- Correct system errors quickly to minimise impact on supply chain and identify root cause and countermeasures.
- Responsible for department reporting, including shipping, sales, and stock analysis data. Reports vary from daily, weekly to monthly tasks.
- Support preparation for senior management report meetings.
- Responsible for department invoice and purchase order (PO) management. Ensuring invoices and PO’s are correctly coded and processed for payment.
- Review existing processes under the banner of continuous improvement to ensure business process efficiencies and future supply change management proposals.
- Management of Seihan department meetings, inc minutes.
Qualifications, skills and experience required/desirable:
- Prior experience in using ERP systems, inc SAP.
- Good PC skills, inc Office applications Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work to a high level of accuracy.
- A confident communicator, able to relay information accurately.
- Ability to organise work to ensure that deadlines are met.
- Self-starter, with ability to work on own initiative.
