We are looking for an outstanding proven general insurance (home) auditor to undertake ongoing performance audits and quality assurance (QA) of our key strategic Household claims suppliers. You will undertake auditing and QA of key Loss Adjusting, Property, Asbestos, Subsidence, Environmental, D&R, specialist and contents suppliers.
Responsible for the audit programme of our household claims suppliers, your thematic supplier audits and QA coupled with close interaction and working relationships with our account managers and external suppliers will incrementally improve supplier performance. Forming close working relationships with key suppliers and internal claims colleagues will come naturally to you.
You will use recognised continuous improvement methodology to develop best practice and new controls that deliver excellent audit outcomes to reduce claims costs, improve process and improve customer experience.
Extensive UK travel will be required to Admiral suppliers and this may extend to site auditing as required.
Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Operations Manager you will be operating in a highly agile environment whilst running and expanding the existing supplier management team.
Main Duties
- Extensive travel required to supplier and Admiral offices
- Design, plan and execute audit & QA programmes across multiple commodities and supplier lines
- Technical analysis of audit outputs, which lead to accurate and clear opportunities being identified and presented to senior management
- Develop strong relationships with account managers to ensure continuous improvement is derived from audit outcomes
- Lead audits across all claims supply chain categories, producing reports with technical recommendations
- Analyse compliance with contractual SLA, KPIs and terms/conditions
- Maintain concise and accurate QA files to deliver desired assurance
- Ensure all audits assess compliance with Admiral’s standards, including Conduct Risk, Complaints and Vulnerable Customers in place to ensure fair customer outcomes.
- Support compliance with relevant policies and procedures
- Identify opportunities to drive value and improve performance of existing and potential suppliers
- Seek ways to improve innovation in processes, reduce costs, manage and reduce risk and stimulate performance improvement
- Identify solutions that improve customer experience
- Collaborate with suppliers and account managers to identify improvement opportunities
- Design and produce MI as required
- Maintain commercial awareness of the household market and associated categories
- Understanding of competitor activity, regulatory and legislative developments
- Identify supply chain failings and develop improvement plans to manage risks to the business
