We are looking for a collaborative and analytical individual to fill the role of Supply Planner. Reporting to the Manager, Supply Planning, the Supply Planner is responsible for planning & maintaining finished goods inventory for a given portfolio. The primary function is to deliver highly optimized plans which maximize case fill while minimizing excess/obsolete inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Determine safety stock/inventory coverage targets by SKU for portfolio
- Create and manage monthly IC (inter-company) purchase orders and IC ROFO (inter-company supply forecasts) as per defined IC guidelines using SAP/IBP
- Manage and monitor inventory health, identifying problem areas and driving appropriate actions to achieve inventory targets
- Measure and perform root-cause analysis of excess inventory and lead action plans to improve
- Create and manage inventory plans on new product launches and discontinuations
- Manage demand & supply plans for export business
- Develop budget plans, purchases and inventory
- KPI reporting & root cause analysis
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Post-secondary education in business/supply chain preferred, coupled with 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Ability to visualize, articulate, and solve both complex and uncomplicated problems and make decisions based on available information
- SAP/IBP experience is an asset
- Must demonstrate how you use ERP systems or manipulate data using Excel
